Mid-Winter Surprise
I bet you weren't expecting an update from your favorite blog. But I made a cool discovery a couple days ago. There were a few carrots from the garden that we still hadn't eaten that were in a plastic bag in the kitchen. At some point I threw the bag in the fridge and basically forgot about it. This was probably November or December... The other day, I took out the bag, and lo and behold, the carrots were growing new greens!
