Undaunted, on April 12, I took the crazy advice of a fellow gardener and spent hours hand-sawing old wooden trellises to make pathways that wouldn't get muddy:

- Beets - Planted one row 4/5 - expected harvest 6/3. Another row 5/2, expected harvest 6/30.
- Blackberries - perennial.
- Cantaloupe - Planted 4/26, expected harvest 7/21.
- Carrots - regular and mixed. Planted one row each 4/5 - expected harvest 6/13 (regular) and 6/18-23 (mixed). Planted more mixed 4/26 - expected harvest 7/9-14. Planted more regular 5/2, expected harvest 7/10.
- Cilantro - Planted 4/26, expected harvest ?
- Eggplants - Planted white and fairytale seedlings 5/2, expected harvest ?
- Lemon cucumbers - Planted 4/26, expected harvest 6/30.
- Lima beans - Planted around one pole 4/19, expected harvest 6/23.
- Mixed flowers - Planted 4/26, expected bloom ?
- Moss roses - Planted 4/26, expected bloom 6/26-8/3.

- Basil: Planted April 12. Expected maturity: July 2-July 12. Tastes horrible! Not basil!
